Yes, the Fat Flush Plan is a very nutritious diet. From what I know of HCG, the extremely limited calorie intake sounds very dangerous! I have had amazing success with FF and I highly recommend it

Hi Kate! Sorry to say that mango is not P1 friendly... You could freeze it and save for a special occasion smoothie though!

Thanks Dr. G! I've been following your advice since "Beyond Pritikin" and find your sharing to be sensible, which appeals to me.
Having been through your 11-day detox plan, I completely understand why you reiterate the idea that when we loosen stuff up in our bodies, we need to be sure to flush them out properly. My story about that is I did not acquire HCL+2 (or pharmacy equivalent) for all of the last 3 days of the detox, and about 10 days later I discovered two brand new skin growths. The smaller one--a skin tag almost--faded away in a month; the second grew below my ankle. It was biopsied (twice) and determined to be a benign growth that they "believe might be the result of a spider bite." I believe its from those toxins I loosened up. I recently had to have it surgically removed.
I read ALG's book about peri-menopause, "Before the Change", and was able to quell those symptoms with her advice. I've shared Peri-Zappers with many women my age!
I also find sense in Donna Gate's Body Ecology Diet. She focuses attention on the Adrenal Glands, too, though her program involves a lot of unusual food items.
At any rate, I'm happy that I'm not obese, and encourage folks to heed ALG's warnings to care for your liver, colon, and physical health.
Best wishes everyone.

while I say "Amen" to super low calorie eating, I just wanted to say that Dr. Simians HCG protocol has gotten a very bad rap, strictly because of our (accurate) beliefs of calorie restriction! I was VERY against it, and actually called some of my friends NUTS! But then I had an educator come to our store to do a class and told me that he'd done it. When I asked why in the world, he explained that this is a very specific program, designed to help those people who TRULY have tried exercise, diet, healthy lifestyles, and STILL can not lose. It resets the Hypothalmus. This is not a diet for everyone. He said this protocol is the metabolic equivalent of unplugging your cable modem when it doesn't work. It resets it. It was not designed to be used long term and it is highly recommended that you take long breaks between sessions. Not all the Dr.'s or stores that sell the drops teach that. It is also VERY healthy food! 100g each of Lean protein, veggies and fruit.

Anyway, I listened because this man is truly one of the smartest people I've ever met in the natural health field, and because of him, we have started teaching the program to our customers, and have had lots of success.

I, for one, don't need it. I love to Fat Flush. It works for me!! And I'm LOVING the shakes!!

From someone who has tried it all, including HCG, my weight only came down during the first couple weeks of a new 'diet', including fast track/fat flush, which compared to most eating plans I tried to follow was one of the healthiest and probably closest to the way I eat now. The problem was I was and am still partially emotionally tied to my fat and my body's response was to work to keep it. Since the moment an ebook I hit home the fact that I'm fat for a reason, if only for a reason that makes sense to me, and I won't be able to lose weight and keep it off until I resolve those issues, I've stopped all dieting. I feel free.

I've been using hypnosis mp3s to 'retrain my brain" to believe that being thin is safe and put my scale out of sight (a very scary concept for someone who weighed herself twice a day for the last 20yrs). I follow the principle of eating only live foods, including healthy sources of protein and fat and I don't eat any grains. I aim to eat only when I am hungry and I eat what I want without having to think about it and days are no longer classified as "good days or bad days".

The junk cravings are gone although for the first time ever in my life I am liking fruit and if I don't have a couple different fruits a day, I actually feel like something was missing. My favorite 'dessert' is raw brownies. Never really liked fruit before, now I want to try every new fruit that I come across.

My weight is coming down (i hauled the scale out yesterday, I was just too curious), none of this "guaranteed ??lbs in so many days" and structured meal plans that always made me feel like I always had a hard time following and felt like a failure when I couldn't. My clothes fit better and I want to exercise and move my body. I feel better about myself than I have since, well since ever. I've hated my body since I was a teenager and have been 'dieting' just as long and I'm 40 now.

Not saying that all my 'diet' attempts were a complete loss, I picked up some fantastic recipes over the years that I use to this day and made some good online friends and learned what constitutes live foods vs dead foods; but I have to say, my dieting has cost me a small fortune and I wished I had my "ah ha" moment years ago.

For some of you who are frustrated, you might want to give ALG's Fat Flush or Fast Track a try. These programs accelerate the burning of fat, reset metabolism, balance hormones, nourish the liver, GI tract and thyroid, plus control carb cravings while addressing emotional eating. Her Fat Flush Plan is my bible and I am a devoted fan for 10 years. At my yearly exam, my doctor could not believe that I was the same person when he saw me after the Two Week Fat Flush. He basically wrote me off because I am in menopause. Well, I sure showed him because I dropped eight inches and 8 pounds. Now the entire staff (especially his overweight nurses) are Fat Flushing, too. SO -- there are alternatives. You should visit ALG on Facebook and check out her Forum. Help is on the way and this program doesn't contstipate you or cause a rebound effect when you go onto the maintenance phase. Good Luck to all!
