Try this “Trimming Trio” to combat belly fat and weight gain.

Still feeling bloated? Craving carbs and sweets? And feeling tired for no good reason?

These are all too common symptoms this time of year—especially after a long holiday season and the humdrum days of winter. But they might also be symptomatic of the Standard American (SAD) Diet—too many refined foods and too few healthy fats.

We miss out on the good fats thanks to many so-called agricultural “advances” like eating meat from feedlot grain-fed livestock instead of animals grazing on grass. Consider that meat from grain-fed livestock has two to six times less omega-3 fats than that from grass-fed livestock. And the Journal of Dairy Science finds that grass-fed cows have 500% more conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), an omega-6 fat linked to lower fat to muscle ratio.

The Three-Pronged Approach

CLA is just part of the solution. For the best ultra fat flushing and belly fat slashing approach, combine CLA with GLA and Y-C Cleanse for what I like to call my “Trimming Trio”—based on research and my clients’ success using them for weight control. And of course, supplements are only designed to do just that — supplement — the work you put in to clean up your diet and incorporate all of the essentials for efficient weight loss. That’s where my New York Times Bestselling book, The New Fat Flush Plan comes in.

Nature’s Belly Fat Fix

CLA-1000 has been shown in scientific research to boost fat metabolism, trimming body fat while building lean muscle tissue.

“CLA works by reducing the body’s ability to store fat and promotes the use of stored fat for energy,” explains Michael Pariza, PhD, professor emeritus at the University of Wisconsin. In a study in Nutrition & Metabolism, he writes, “It is possible to modify body composition by supplementing CLA in the diet.”  He also adds, “Studies made on animals and humans show that consumption of CLA leads to a loss of fat and total body weight. Anti-obesity mechanisms of CLA include decreased energy/food intake and increased energy expenditure.”

No wonder a Norwegian study shows that overweight individuals who did not diet but took CLA lost a significant amount of weight over a 12-week period—along with a stunning 20% of body fat! Even if you’ve gain a little extra winter weight, this supplement helps you redeposit most of it as muscle—not extra storage fat!

I recommend that you take one CLA-1000 softgel three times daily, preferably with meals. If you have over 50 pounds to lose, double up and take 2 per meal for at least three weeks and then cut back to 1 per meal until you reach your goal weight. It’s your fat-proof insurance policy—and even helps balance blood sugar levels!

Although it is my #1 favorite, CLA is not the only healthy fat that can combat winter weight gain.

The Fat That Makes You Thin!

Next comes gamma linolenic acid or GLA. This omega-6 essential fatty acid activates metabolically active brown fat, which triggers the body to burn more calories without exercise or dieting!

Brown adipose tissue (BAT) is a special kind of fat found deep within the body that surrounds your vital organs such as the kidneys, heart, and adrenal glands. It cushions your spinal column as well as the neck and major thoracic blood vessels.

Carrying around a few ounces of brown adipose (fatty) tissue can burn up to one-fifth of your daily calories. That can make a real difference fast!

One large study shows that women with higher levels of brown fat, as identified by PET scans, also have lower body-mass indexes (BMI). Activating brown fat—that can amount to as much as 30 to 40% of total body fat—with GLA makes the “battle of the bulge” considerably easier.

To activate metabolically active brown fat that the New England Journal of Medicine calls “the new obesity treatment,” I recommend GLA-90. Take two softgels, preferably with meals, daily, or as advised by a health care practitioner.

This supplement contains black currant seed oil, the most balanced form of this omega-6-rich essential fat—and is found to be “safer and more effective” for controlling blood lipids in one recent study. As an added benefit, GLA-90 helps to moisturize your skin from the inside out, for the ultimate glow-up from the inside out!

Quick Fix for Sugar Cravings

There’s one more Fat Flushing secret to compensate for overindulging this time of year. You also need to counter yeast, like Candida albicans, that leads to cravings, even when you feel bloated or are suffering from allergies and fatigue.

To cut down on cravings and bloating, take Y-C Cleanse, a clinically proven safe and effective homeopathic formula for Candida albicans and yeast overgrowth. An estimated 80% of people with allergies (burning, itchy eyes or stuffy nose) and cravings have Candida overgrowth. Excess consumption of carbs, alcohol, and sugars (as well as stress and certain medications) can turn this non-invasive yeast into a more aggressive form that bores into the gastrointestinal lining resulting in food sensitivities, environmental allergies, and increased cravings for sweets and carb-rich foods.

Take four droppers or one teaspoon of Y-C Cleanse in two ounces of water one half hour before eating breakfast or as directed by a health care professional. Those with sensitive systems may prefer to start with one (1) dropper and progress gradually to the full dosage.

This plan works! In 8 weeks I went from 196 to 172, and i felt great the whole time. I didn’t follow the plan word for word but I followed it pretty closely.

    Hi –

May I say that the dosage amounts given in this blog article for both CLA-1000 and GLA-90 differ from the dosage amounts on the labels. It would be really nice if this is corrected so is less confusing.

    Thanks!

I just read the directions on the bottle of my GLA. It does say to take 2 softgels and adds to take them twice per day. I know that is what is recommended in the Fat Flush Plan. The CLA bottle does say to take 1 softgel three times per day. The blog is giving us a special dosage that wouldn’t be followed all the time, so it wouldn’t be on the bottle.

If I could only afford one of these products to rid belly fat, which one of your fat flush products would you recommend I purchase.

If the fat is only in your belly I would recommend CLA because research shows it is especially good at reducing fat in that area. If you also need to loose weight overall I would suggest GLA because if you don’t have that you may not be efficient at burning fat period. I’m a Nutritionist and have used these for years with my clients.

The book says 360mg of GLA daily so that would mean 4 of the GLA 90 softgels, not two (correct???).

IF WE FOLLOW THESE RECOMMENDATIONS, HOW OFTEN DO WE NEED TO REPLENISH THE 3 ITEMS? WILL WE RUN OUT OF THEM ALL AT THE SAME TIME??
