I found both David Brownstein's and Derry's books on Iodine to be quite helpful. Current research from Mexico, India and Japan supports the use of Iodine in prevention and treatment of breast cancer.

Dear Friends:
I would love to answer each and every single one of your queries, as I have done to the best of my ability, in the past. The popularity of this Blog has grown to the extent that I can no longer provide that service but I am in the planning stages of an Internet - TV show where you can call in and get those questions answered by me in person! Please stay tuned for this exciting development. I first must complete a new manuscript and then will make some exciting announcements. In the interim, may I suggest that if you have questions about products, call UNI KEY at 1-800-888-4353. The folks there are helpful and will direct you accordingly. If you are concerned about a particular health condition, then by all means check out the Testing Kits on my site which will help you to determine underlying causes. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and interest!

The Armour website, www.Armour.com, says that the product will be back on the market eventually in a window that pops up and gives a phone number to call for up to date information.

Also, if you close the window about the Armour shortage, and click on "Patient Information", then a physician-finding icon is in the upper right corner of the page. Click on that icon to find a physician who prescribes Armour and is thus more likely to be the kind of physician you want to see. In Wisconsin where I live I have to drive about 70 miles to reach my doctor who is listed in Madison.

Paige, I agree - it is hard to find physicians that want to cure instead of just treat a symptom. I read or heard that Oprah went to Clevelnad Clinic with all kinds of problems to find out it was her thyroid and that today she is free of all medications. Wonder what they gave her? Even on armour my nails are soft, ridges in them still. Hair has not came back in so I'm praying for answers.

Sheila, I asked my ND recently about Armour & she too, told me that it was being discontinued. This IS a setback indeed -- and there must be other bio-identical thyroid hormone to have access too. Ive seen Standard Process Thytrophin & it is accessed by licensed ND's. Fortunately, I havent been advised to be on a thyroid hormone yet...and yes, ALG -- this is a very hot topic. Most of us arent able to afford access to this valuable information, & it is difficult to find qualified physicians, who treat patients in a holistic manner.

My oh my, this continues to be a stellar topic. I would recommend that you consider Thytrophin to replace your Armour. Three Thyrtophin are about the equivalency of a 1 grain Armour (without the hormones)UNI KEY carries this for my private clients; call and see if they can get it for you or special order it.
