    The story of Ultra H-3 begins over 100 years ago in Romania.  Procaine, the main ingredient in Ultra H-3, was discovered in 1905 by a biochemist named Dr. Alfred Einhorn.  He was looking for a non-toxic, non-addictive anesthetic—an alternative to the medical world as more and more of its dangers were revealed.
    Not much happened for nearly 50 years.  In 1949, Dr. Ana Aslan was working at the National Geriatric Institute in Bucharest, Romania.  As these things usually happen, she discovered procaine’s anti-aging properties completely by accident.
    Looking to decrease the pain her elderly patients were experiencing, Dr. Aslan began injecting them with procaine.  Imagine her shock when her patients didn’t just feel less pain—they started experiencing overwhelming physical and mental improvements.  She knew she was onto something.

    Springing into action, she began a series of clinical trials studying 15,000 patients, with over 400 doctors and 154 clinics participating.  When all was said and done, close to 70% of the GH-3 patients had never contracted a disease.  Their death rate was five times lower and they took 40% fewer sick days than people who weren’t taking GH-3.
    Word spread.  World leaders and celebrities had to get their hands on what was quickly becoming legendary.  Imagine having access to something so powerful, something so revolutionary in the fight against aging!  Thing is, you had to have the money to get to Romania for treatments.
    John F. Kennedy, Winston Churchill, Greta Garbo, and Charlie Chaplin were among those having regular injections of GH-3.  Mike Wallace did a piece on GH-3 on 60 Minutes in 1972.
    Flash forward to the early 1980s.  Then, Ann Louise was the director of nutrition at the Pritikin Longevity Center in Santa Monica, CA.  She often asked her clients—world travelers, political figures, and celebrities—what they thought was the best step they’d taken to ensure health and longevity.  The answer was always GH-3.
    So began Ann Louise’s quest to bring GH-3 to the United States.  As fate would have it, someone else was just learning about GH-3 around the same time.  Biochemist Dr. Robert Koch has his sister to thank for introducing him to GH-3 after it worked wonders on her asthma and arthritis.

    When Dr. Aslan started injecting her patients with procaine, hoping to alleviate their pain, she was sending a high dose of cell-membrane-repairing para-amino benzoic acid (PABA) and diethylaminoethanol (DEAE) straight to where it was needed most.
    Both B vitamins, PABA and DEAE repair damaged cell membranes, returning cells to a much younger state.  PABA increases energy production in the mitochondria—the “power plants” of each cell in your body.  DEAE promotes production of the inner layers of the cell membrane.  In the body, it’s broken down into raw materials used in various parts of the cell.
